With clean and rich of water, Dongjiang lake is famous as an half of Dongting lake. The quality of water in the lake reaches the first grade of drinking water standard.
   Rapid Economic Development: ChenZhou has ranked No.2 for six consecutive years for its use of foreign investment. In 2006, it was selected as one of Chinese Most. Investment Potential Cities by multinational companies, and was identified by the Ministry of Commerce as one of the first key cities receiving the gradient transfer of processing trade in China. In 2009, Chenzhou is reputed for its best service for starting the company business.

   We will speedup to realize the development strategy of city, focus on construction city as ‘One body, two wings and three centers’. One body means main city of old Chenzhou center, two wings means easten area of city which constructing as  non-ferrous processing industrial zone, western means Wuguang new area, three centers means non-ferrous processing, exporting processing zone, new logistics zone center which organize as a group in Huaishuxia, new industrial and commercial center which organize as a group in Wuguang new area.
   Speedup to contrast national processing and commercial demonstration base, national precision processing base of non-ferrous metal. processing, national ecological leisure and vacation base south China power supplying base and Hunan digital video-communication production base.

    Located in the southeast of Hunan Province, bordering with Guangdong Provinces and approaching Hong Kong and Macao, ChenZhou is the Southern Gate of Hunan Province. With Beijing-Guangdong Railway, Beijing-Zhuhai Expressway, Wuguang high-speed railway, Nos.106&107 National Highways, and constructing Jingzhu second expressway, Xiarong expressway, Yueru expressway, and Chenzhou airport which is planning to construct, crossing in its territory, Chenzhou becomes a traffic hub and become one of nearest city to Guangdong cargo port in middle and west area of China. It takes 1 hour from Chenzhou to Guangzhou and 2 hours to Hongkong. Chenzhou will be integrated into 1 hour Life Circle in Pearl Rive Delta.
     Chenzhou has perfect platform for opening to oversea. The branch of Changsha customs operated in Chenzhou is one of full tarrif service customs inner country. It has special function like Shenzhen and another coastal customs as a customs-International express mail service center. Chenzhou is the only one city in Huna province which has state-level export processing zone, secondary road customs, concentrated inspection and clearance field for agriculture products for Hongkong and Macao, After combined transport of rail and see will operate(In May,2010), logistice cost will reduce 20%.
