1. Inspection and quarantine for goods from the Importing and Exporting Processing Zone will be conducted in the Exporting Processing Zone, not at the port, bringing convenience to the enterprises.
2. The raw materials and components imported for export-processed products, self-uesed office articles and living articles will be free of quality inspection.
3. The export commodities inspection shall be only applicable to those goods indicating Made in China, using Chinese registered trademarks, with China’s Certificate of Origin or those which require the Certificate of Quality to be issued by the Inspection and Quarantine authorities.
4. For goods mobilized in from areas outside the Zone and deemed as export goods by the Customs house, the inspection and quarantine authority will not conduct the inspection.
5. For goods mobilized out from the Zone and deemed as import by the Customs house, the inspection and quarantine authority will not conduct the inspection and only inspect the commodities which require inspection by law. For items belonging to waste materials and old electromechanical products, only environment-related inspection items are applicable.
6. Although the Processing Zone belongs to “Inside the Boundary and Outside the Customs” areas, the export products manufactured by the enterprises within the Zone can be granted with GSP and CO certificates by the inspection and quarantine authority as long as those products are in compliance with the Rules of the People’s Repblic of China on the Origin of Export Goods or the rules of GSP.
